JOURNAL ENTRIES WEEK OF AUGUST 23-27
Argue for or against: Your using good grammar makes a difference in the way people perceive who you are.
FOR: I think if you use better grammar people will think of you at first at least as a better person. People, esp. in the adult world, look at how a person talks and judge them for it and base many things that they think of them from it. It is one part of that instrumental first meeting that carries so, so, far...
Write a 15 Sentence Portrait of Yourself
Title: Play It Loud
1, 2, 3 GO!
Asleep at the wheel 40 miles left to go
rollin' in on fumes to rock the show,
we don't need fortune and we don't need fame,
we don't need bright lights to spell our name,
All we ever wanted was to play
[Chorus:]
Play it loud, play it loud
raise your voice shout it out
We weren't the first but were holding our own,
10 long years ago those seeds were sewn,
A song in your heart gets you up when you're down,
like the songs we play we love this sound,
we're just like you straight from the crowd
[Chorus x2]
Hold fast to your friends
Be true to yourself
And stop tryin' to be just like somebody else
Be Yourself
[Chorus x2]
Play It Loud
Respond to a quote that’s special to you.
"If it itches, scratch it." By me...
Meaning multiple things, among which are follow your gut, heart, or whatever else. If you really get the urge and feel you need to do it go for it. And all in all, it can always be interpreted at face value. An all around good quote...
Answer this question: How does the word talk differ from the word dialogue?
The word talk, in my opinion, could be just anyone spouting off. The word dialouge usually refers to a healthy conversation but also is usually only used to refer to books. Talk or just conversation are the more used words in real life application.

Write a 15 Sentence Portrait of Yourself
GRAY
No one is here where I am.
I am in my own world, black and dank.
My eyes cannot see.
It is dark as the night.
I don't know what to do, to say, to feel, I just don't have a clue; authority is always looming overhead, fussing and complaining about my every move.
I just want to be understood
My shirt is on my back.
I wish I could jump into a hole and need a shirt no more.
I had a dog once.
Now I have heck here on Earth.
Why, oh why, why did it have to be me.
The smell of fire and brimstone is strong.
The smell is strong as the peal of thunder in the midst of the night is loud.
I want escape, I want to get away, I am going insane
I always remember in my struggles though that throughout life things get worse before they get better and right now my life is looking bleak, GRAY...
